Recently, a new update about the film has been shared. Manikarnika Films announced on social media that the film’s release date will be postponed due to Kangana’s commitments to the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections campaign.

Kangana, who is running for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Mandi constituency, has prioritized her political duties over the film’s release, demonstrating her dedication to both her country and party.

‘Written, directed, and produced by Kangana Ranaut, the new release date for ‘Emergency’ will be announced soon. The film features a star-studded cast including Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik. Produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films, ‘Emergency’ is touted to be Kangana’s most ambitious project to date, with music by Sanchit Balhara and screenplay and dialogues by Ritesh Shah.
