BisDaily Bureau: Representatives from eighteen political parties across ten countries are set to touch down in India to observe the ongoing general election upon BJP’s invitation, the party said in a release. Invited by the BJP, these delegates will gain firsthand experience and insights into the party’s election campaign strategies, the release stated further. Liberal Party from Australia, United Russia Party, Communist Party of Vietnam, Awami League from Bangladesh, Likud Party of Israel, Chama Cha Mapinduzi of Tanzania are among the invited parties, the party stated.
Scheduled for a rendezvous at the BJP Headquarters on May 1st (Wednesday), the delegates will be received by BJP National President J.P. Nadda, BJP’s foreign policy in-charge Dr. Dr. Vijay Chauthiwale said. Alongside, they will have the opportunity to engage with key figures including Dr. S Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs, and Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister of Railways. The agenda is packed with briefings on BJP’s election campaign tactics and an overview of the electoral process in India.
This initiative forms part of the ‘KNOW BJP’ global outreach program, inaugurated by Nadda on the Party’s 43rd Foundation Day.
